The basic model used concentrates on having a clear sense of direction and linking that direction to outcomes, thereafter developing evidence based strategies, good quality evaluations and relevant performance measures.
By using evidence from a wide range of sources, including data collected and survey information, we are committed to ensuring that policies are not just processes.
We consider views from diverse sources which will help to shape those policies. This frequently means challenging assumptions made, and asking awkward questions – but without this greater knowledge, policy development in areas of prevention or community cohesion cannot be taken forward.
